Monster Spawners are blocks that are used for spawning various mobs depending on their location.

From what I've found it is only legitimately obtainable through the "Treasure Hunter" perk of the "LevelUp Reloaded" mod.
Spawns[]
If you are looking for monster spawners they are typically found underground and you can find them in places such as:
- Battle Towers
- Roguelike Dungeons
- Lycanites Dungeons
- Caves
Drops[]
In both early and late game, monster spawners are a good source of experience and can drop:
- Glowstone
- Redstone
- Spectral Silt
- Gold
- Diamonds(?) (maybe rarely)
- Lapis
