The Dragon's Eye is an item from Trinkets and Baubles that gives the wearer (toggleable) Night Vision, permanent Fire Resistance (or Ice Resistance), and grants a pseudo x-ray for various minerals and Chests. It is said to disable explosion blurs from the Enhanced Visuals mod, which is right now not true.confirmation?
There are 2 versions of the Dragon's Eye:
- The Fire Dragon's Eye, which gives Fire Resistance, as well as immunity to Fire Dragon attacks and hyperthermia.
- The Ice Dragon's Eye, which gives Ice Resistance (which protects against ooze/frost fire/ice fire from Lycanites Mobs), as well as immunity to Ice Dragon attacks and hypothermia.
Both variants provide the pseudo x-ray effect.
Crafting[]
To craft a Fire Dragon's Eye you need 3 Glowing Gems, 4 Diamond Swords, a Fire Dragon Skull (stage 5) and a Ring of Enchanted Eyes.
To craft an Ice Dragon's Eye you need 3 Glowing Gems, 4 Diamond Swords, an Ice Dragon Skull (stage 5) and a Ring of Enchanted Eyes.
Usage[]
Upon equipping the Fire Dragon's Eye, the wearer will receive permanent Fire Resistance, while upon equipping the Ice Dragon's Eye, the wearer will receive permanent Ice Resistance. The user will also be able to toggle Night Vision through a key specified in your Options menu. (Under Trinkets and Baubles)
By using another key specified in the Options menu the wearer can search for:
- Coal Ore
- Iron Ore
- Gold Ore
- Lapis Lazuli Ore
- Redstone Ore
- Diamond Ore
- Emerald Ore
- Nether Quartz Ore
- Silver Ore
- Sapphire Ore
- Hephaestite Ore
- Umbrium Ore
- Scarlite Ore
- Cincinnasite Ore
- Ender Biotite Ore
- Treasure Chests
Toggling this effect will allow the wearer to see where the specified block is located, within a range of up to 5 blocks above, 5 blocks below, and 10 blocks horizontally away from the wearer (shown in the image below). The specified blocks will emit a particle effect which can be seen through blocks, enabling the wearer to locate said blocks.
