A Blight Trumpet Skeleton.
Blight Mobs are a special type of mob from Scaling Health. They are much more powerful than their normal versions but drop much more experience.
How it Works[]
Every hostile mob that spawns has a 0.5% chance to become a Blight Mob on Hard difficulty (the default for RLCraft). Blight Mobs have multiple permanent buffs, including Speed 5, Strength 3, Fire Resistance, and an extra 20 Health. They are also immune to suffocation damage, have increased chances of spawning with armor (if applicable), and drop 40x the experience when killed. Blight Creepers will always be Charged. They are easy to identify as they are always surrounded in a purple fire.
The most dangerous part about Blight Mobs are their speed and damage, as every bit of their damage will be multiplied. For example, a Charged Creeper can normally do 97 hearts of damage if it explodes point blank. Combine this with the speed at which they can approach you, and if the Creeper is not successfully killed, it will more than likely kill you even with Blast Protection. In addition, the inclusion of Locational Damage means that a Blight mob that attacks your head or torso will almost certainly kill you. It is not recommended to attempt to fight a Blight mob up close.
Blight Mobs should not be confused with Infernal Mobs, which are mobs that spawn with extra effects caused by the Infernal Mobs mod. However, the two are not mutually exclusive, so it is possible for a Blight to also spawn as an Infernal Mob.
